I’ve been working on a collaboration with another artist at Daz3D – Merlin Studios – to create a full Carrara environment for his Byodo In temple product.

There are actually two versions of this temple in the world – an original 10th century one near Kyoto, Japan and a replica built in the 1960′s on the island of Oahu. I’m attempting to recreate the feel of the Oahu version with lawn gardens and towering mountain backdrop.

I think it’s coming along nicely (helps that the temple model was so well done). Click on the image below to view larger.
